About JWJ Outdoors
and the Skeeter Wilson Philosophy
In 2010 lifelong hunters Jim Willard and John Ward Junkin decided it was time to present their fellow hunting enthusiast with stands that were easy to assemble, easy to move, lightweight and durable—while still crafted with attention to detail and high quality construction.
It wasn’t long before they had acquired the technology and processes to bring their dream to the marketplace. “We hunted from Skeeter Wilson’s deer stands while I was growing up in Mississippi,” said Jim Willard. “When Skeeter decided to retire and sell his company, we jumped at the chance to buy it and incorporate some of our own ideas into an already proven product with many years of field testing.”
JWJ Outdoors is a company with vision. “We focus on products that we personally use and believe in,” said John Ward Junkin. “This personal conviction sets us apart from other companies. If we don’t believe in the product, we won’t present it to you.”
